Check Wise Disclosure Letter
Welcome! We understand that you are here because you either want more information about opening a checking account or you are trying to re-open an account after being placed on ChexSystems.
This agency has over 40 years of experience of helping people with financial challenges through counseling and education. This educational course will help you learn how to manage a checkbook, understand the basics of choosing a financial institution and select a checking account that meets your needs.
While taking CheckWise is educationally beneficial to you and can help improve your chances of developing a relationship with a bank or credit union, it's important to understand that completing this course does not guarantee that you will be able to open an account with a financial institution. A number of other factors can determine your eligibility for an account, including an unpaid balance or in instances of fraud. Having the proper identification can also be a factor, but the final decision will be made by the financial institution.
